The trends that Thrift.Look would like to see emerge in 2026 !
At Thrift.Look , we take a step back and look at fashion. We're less interested in what's a flash in the pan than in what stands the test of time. In what endures, evolves, and transforms. In what allows for free self-expression, without following any set rules. For 2026, here are the trends we'd like to see return… or become here to stay.
Using the second hand as a first reflex
What if secondhand shopping were no longer just an alternative, but a natural reflex? Searching, comparing, and adopting a piece we already love—that's where fashion regains its true meaning. A garment's value shouldn't come from its newness, but from its history, its durability, and how it continues to exist.
The return of pieces that last
Fewer micro-trends. More clothes you keep. Well-cut coats, comfortable knits, pants you can wear without thinking. Sturdy fabrics, timeless cuts. Pieces you bring out year after year, regardless of the season… or the algorithm.
A freer, less gendered fashion
Fashion without fixed rules, without boxes to tick. Clothes worn for pleasure, comfort, and self-expression. For 2026, we hope for a fashion that leaves room for personal expression, far removed from labels and imposed silhouettes.
Upcycling and repair embraced
A visible seam. A visible button. A patch that tells a story. These aren't flaws, but signatures. This year, we'd like to see repair and upcycling proudly displayed, as a way to extend the life of clothes rather than hide it.
Accessories as key pieces
A bag, a belt, a scarf, or a piece of jewelry can transform a look in an instant. For this new year, we hope that accessories continue to take their rightful place: that of true statement pieces. Secondhand, they are often real treasures.
Consume less, but better
Buy less. Choose better. Take the time to select pieces that truly reflect who we are, rather than following fleeting trends. A more conscious, intentional, and personal approach to fashion.
The Thrift.Look vision
For 2026, our wish is simple: a more humane, more sustainable, more free fashion. Clothes that last a long time. Styles that don't wait for any permission.
Second-hand, without compromise.
